Washington’s Orphans Need You

Did you know that Washington has more than 10,000 children in foster care today? Did you know that more than 1,000 of those children are free to be adopted, if only a home could be found for them?

The world has lots of problems with no obvious solutions, but this isn’t one of them.

Join Focus on the Family, the Washington Department of Social and Health Services as well as church and adoption leaders from around Washington on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Overlake Christian Church in Redmond, WA. You'll hear more about the kids who are waiting, the process of adoption from foster care and ways to support adoptive families. In addition, agency and county representatives will be on site to answer questions and help you get started.

Pure and undefiled religion before God is to look after orphans and widows in their time of need. This half-day conference will be a great opportunity to understand how you can help be part of the solution and engage those in your community to solve this problem. So join with thousands of others from around Washington State who share a goal of taking care of the most vulnerable children in our communities.
